October 2008

I'm attempting to catch up on the past four months so that I can let go and move forward with the blog. I have to admit I'm a bit disappointed in my ability to keep current with my postings. Turning over a new leaf, the next few entries will be brief summaries of the end of 2008 happenings. The following photos are a few October highlights. Without further ado . . .

October was a busy month. My absolute BFF CJ came to visit from San Juan Island. We had a really fun girls night with several other close friends. I had my 31st birthday. Unfortunately I woke up with the flu and Adam and I were both sick for the first few days of my mom's visit.

We were lucky to have her help with Beyla. My mom was a domestic dream cooking, cleaning, taking care of us and B. She taught me how to make my great grandma's rolls and I made cinnamon rolls for the first time. I think they turned out pretty good.

My mom brought the beautiful wagon that my dad built for Beyla. She decided she'd rather stand up so I'm working on making a seatbelt for her.

Mom joined B and I at music class. It was a fun day singing and dancing in costume.

We also had a few friends and neighbors over that night for a small Halloween get together.
